Introduction to the verb penser
The English translation of the French verb penser is “to think.” It is pronounced as “pahn-say” in the infinitive form.
Penser comes from the Latin verb “pensare” meaning “to weigh” or “to consider.” In everyday French, it is used to express one’s thoughts, opinions, or beliefs about a subject or situation.
