Introduction to the verb rager
The English translation of the French verb rager is “to rage” or “to be furious”. It is pronounced as “rah-zhay” in its infinitive form.
Rager comes from the Latin word “rabies”, meaning “madness” or “fury”. In everyday French, it is most often used in the plus-que-parfait tense, which is the past perfect tense in English. This tense is used to describe an action that had already been completed in the past before another past action.
