Introduction to the verb associer
The English translation of the French verb associer is “to associate.” It is pronounced “ah-so-see-eh.”
The word “associer” comes from the Latin word “associare,” meaning “to unite or join together.” In everyday French, it is most often used to describe the action of connecting or linking two or more things or people.
