Meaning of Accointer – French Verb
Accointer means to introduce two people or to associate someone with another person.
Examples of accointer in Every Day Usage
1) Je m’accointe souvent avec mes voisins pour discuter des affaires du quartier. (I often mingle with my neighbors to discuss neighborhood matters.)
2) Les enfants se sont accointés pour préparer une surprise pour l’anniversaire de leur mère. (The children joined forces to prepare a surprise for their mother’s birthday.)
3) Pendant la soirée, nous nous sommes accointés avec de nouvelles personnes et avons fait de belles rencontres. (During the party, we mingled with new people and made some great connections.)
