Meaning of Béatifier – French Verb

Béatifier means to beatify, which is the process of declaring a person to be among the blessed or saints in the Roman Catholic Church.

Examples of béatifier in Every Day Usage

1) Le pape béatifiait les martyrs lors de la cérémonie de canonisation. (The pope beatified the martyrs during the canonization ceremony.)
