Meaning of Débarder – French Verb

Débarder means to haul or transport logs or timber, usually from a forest or wooded area.

Examples of débarder in Every Day Usage

  1. Les bûcherons doivent débarder les arbres abattus de la forêt. (The lumberjacks have to transport the felled trees out of the forest.)
  2. Nous avons dû débarder tout le matériel de camping à pied car notre véhicule est tombé en panne. (We had to carry all the camping gear out by foot because our vehicle broke down.)
