Meaning of Fuser – French Verb

Fuser means to blend or fuse together, such as melting two substances together or merging two entities into one.

Examples of fuser in Every Day Usage

  1. Je dois fuser le fromage pour qu’il soit fondu pour la fondue. (I have to melt the cheese so it is melted for the fondue.)
  2. La lumière de la lampe a fusé quand j’ai appuyé sur l’interrupteur. (The light from the lamp fused when I pressed the switch.)
  3. En rentrant chez moi, j’ai vu que le fil de mon téléphone portable avait fusé et je n’ai pas pu le recharger. (When I got home, I saw that the wire of my cell phone had fused and I couldn’t charge it.)
