Meaning of Layer – French Verb
Layer means to arrange or place something in layers, usually on top of each other.
Examples of layer in Every Day Usage
- J’ai un peu de mal à layer mon pull ce matin. (I’m having some trouble layering my sweater this morning.)
- La pâtissière a commencé à layer la crème sur le gâteau. (The pastry chef started to layer the cream on the cake.)
- Il faut toujours layer les informations les plus importantes en premier dans un rapport. (You always need to layer the most important information first in a report.)
