Meaning of Layer – French Verb

Layer means to arrange or place something in layers, usually on top of each other.

Examples of layer in Every Day Usage

  1. J’ai un peu de mal à layer mon pull ce matin. (I’m having some trouble layering my sweater this morning.)
  2. La pâtissière a commencé à layer la crème sur le gâteau. (The pastry chef started to layer the cream on the cake.)
