Meaning of Miter – French Verb

Miter means to join two pieces of wood or other material at a 45-degree angle.

Examples of miter in Every Day Usage

  1. Je dois miter le coin de la feuille pour qu’elle s’adapte à la forme du cadre. (I have to miter the corner of the paper so that it fits the shape of the frame.)
  2. Tu peux miter les morceaux de bois pour que leur joint soit plus solide. (You can miter the pieces of wood to make their joint stronger.)
