Meaning of Sous-Exposer – French Verb

Sous-exposer means to underexpose, or to expose for too short a period of time, resulting in a darker or less detailed image.

Examples of sous-exposer in Every Day Usage

  1. Je vais sous-exposer cette photo pour créer un effet plus sombre. (I will underexpose this photo to create a darker effect.)

  2. Tu devrais éviter de sous-exposer tes cheveux au soleil pour éviter les dommages. (You should avoid underexposing your hair to the sun to prevent damage.)

  3. Il est important de ne pas sous-exposer les enfants à la télévision pour protéger leur vue. (It is important not to underexpose children to TV to protect their eyesight.)
