Introduction to the verb chiader
The English translation of the French verb chiader is “to work hard/to put a lot of effort into something.” It is pronounced “shee-a-day.”
The language origin of chiader is uncertain, but it is believed to come from the word “chiade” which means “to polish/to perfect.” It is most often used in everyday French in the Passé Antérieur tense, which is used to express an action that occurred before another action in the past.
