The English translation of the French verb microfilmer is “to microfilm.” It is pronounced mee-kroh-feel-may.

The word microfilmer is derived from the combination of the prefix “micro” meaning small, and the verb “filmer” meaning to film or record. It was first used in the early 20th century when microfilm technology was developed as a way to store and preserve large amounts of documents in a compact format. In everyday French, the verb microfilmer is most often used in its infinitive form, but it can also be conjugated in different tenses and moods, including the Subjonctif Présent (subjunctive present) tense.

In the second sentence, it is used to express doubt. In the third sentence, it is used to express importance.
