Introduction to the verb modifier
The English translation of the French verb modifier is “to modify.” It is pronounced “moh-dee-fee-ay” in its infinitive form.
The word “modifier” comes from the Latin verb “modificare,” which means “to limit or measure.” In everyday French, the verb modifier is used to indicate a change or alteration in something.
